At MICRON SEMICONDUCTOR ASIA OPERATIONS PTE. LTD., we are seeking an exceptional Facilities Control Engineer to lead our Smart Facilities and Control systems on site. This is a unique opportunity for a skilled engineer to drive engineering and maintenance works in the fields of SMART Fac and Control systems.
The successful candidate will be responsible for leading on-site Smart System transformation, implementing Smart fac projects with AI-enabled detection and analytics, and collaborating with other Micron Departments. Additionally, they will lead the deployment of Sustainability and Environmental Control systems, utilizing Industry 4.0 technology to enhance early detection and predictions.
This role requires a strong background in electrical/electronics/computer engineering or a related field, along with experience in programming programmable logic controllers (PLC) and process automation PID control. The ideal candidate will also possess good knowledge of various handheld tools, portable devices, and equipment, as well as experience in SCADA, HMI, and reporting software.
In this position, you will have the opportunity to utilize computer-based software to document and analyze records of work orders and equipment history. You will also acquire estimated costs and raise purchase requisitions for services or parts necessary for repair and maintenance purposes when required.
