The role of Assistant to Architect involves providing comprehensive support to Architects in their daily tasks and responsibilities. This includes reviewing project design briefs for architectural design work, ensuring compliance with client requirements and architectural standards.
Key Responsibilities:- Review and analyze project design briefs to ensure compliance with architectural design principles and client requirements.
- Coordinate with clients, consultants, and stakeholders to foster effective communication and collaboration throughout the project lifecycle.
- Take minutes of meetings to record key discussion points, facilitating transparency and accountability.
- Prepare high-quality architectural schematic design presentation proposals, authority submission plans, tenders, construction drawings, and as-built documents.
- Assist with contract administration matters, including payment, variations, and time extensions during construction phases.
- Conduct snagging inspections upon building completion, identifying defects for rectification.
- Proficiency in Revit, Asbuilt Drawings, BIM, and AutoCAD software.
- Strong knowledge of architectural design principles, including 3D modeling and rendering.
- Experience with SketchUp and Adobe Photoshop is a plus.
