Senior Content Creator

This is a challenging and exciting opportunity to join our editorial team as a content creator. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing engaging audience-centric content that resonates with our diverse range of readers.
The ideal candidate will have exceptional writing, editing and project management skills, as well as a keen ability to think strategically and communicate effectively with colleagues and clients.
- Develop high-quality content for digital and social media platforms;
- Manage campaigns through their life cycles, ensuring timely delivery and budget adherence;
- Collaborate with the team to craft and refine ideas for stories, content series and concepts;
- Work with an internal team of editors and freelancers to produce content that meets the highest standards;
- Ensure content is produced to brief and adheres to in-house style guides;
- Optimise copy and headlines for digital and social media according to best SEO practices;
- Craft effective and engaging social media copy;
- Communicate effectively with sales and clients to educate them on our journalistic approach to storytelling.
The successful candidate will have a minimum of 5 years of demonstrated excellence in content creation, including digital and social media platforms. They will also possess excellent command of the English language and strong communication and interpersonal skills.
A background in newsroom experience is highly desirable, as is knowledge of SEO and social media best practices. Experience with content management systems such as WordPress and Drupal is also a plus.
