Are you ready to kick-start your maritime career?
About the OpportunityWe are offering a unique chance to gain hands-on experience in marine insurance. As a trainee, you will work closely with our team to develop broad knowledge of underwriting and business development.
You will be trained as an underwriter, assessing risks and preparing insurance covers for existing customers and acquiring new ones. You will also have the opportunity to work in one of our international offices, gaining valuable insights into global markets.
Main Responsibilities- Build strong customer relationships: Establish effective partnerships with members, clients, and brokers to attract and retain profitable business.
- Promote marine insurance products: Develop and implement marketing strategies to promote our range of marine insurance products.
- Perform risk assessment and evaluation: Conduct accurate risk assessments and evaluations to ensure optimal coverage for our clients.
- Negotiate and provide required covers: Negotiate and prepare customized insurance solutions for our clients.
To succeed in this role, you will need:
- A degree in Economics, Law, Business Administration, or Sales and Marketing at Master's level.
- Relevant work experience during studies is beneficial.
- Excellent English communication and presentation skills.
- Able to work independently and as part of a team.
- Capacity to take on a heavy workload and work efficiently under pressure.
