About the Role

The Technical Business Solutions Analyst will work closely with business users to define requirements for banking applications, develop and implement solutions, and resolve day-to-day system issues.

Key Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with a diverse range of business stakeholders, including bankers, traders, finance professionals, risk managers, capital market experts, and operations teams, to understand their needs and processes and produce clear requirement specifications.
  • Work on the entire solution lifecycle, from coding and development to unit testing, supporting users in UAT, validating results, and implementing solutions in production.
  • Coordinate with Head Office and/or vendors on projects and issues as needed.
  • Provide day-to-day application support to users.
  • Develop and implement system enhancements, code changes, and ensure timely and smooth implementation.

Requirements

  • Hold a degree in Computer Science or equivalent from a reputable university.
  • Be effectively bilingual in English and Chinese, with strong ability to converse, read, and write in Chinese, as most documents and correspondence with Head Office are in Chinese.
  • Have experience working in a bank or a vendor with a full-time deployment to a bank.
  • Have good coding experience.
  • Exhibit a highly positive attitude, be self-driven, and thrive in high-pressure environments with strict deadlines.
  • Be an organized, meticulous, and independent worker who can also work effectively in a team.
  • Strong technical knowledge and/or hands-on experience in areas such as data warehouse projects will be an advantage but not essential.
  • Knowledge of banking domain and instruments/products will be an advantage but not essential.
