Job Summary

The Clinical Research Associate will work closely with the Research and Translational Innovation team at SingHealth Community Hospitals to assist in the coordination of clinical research studies. This role will involve working with stakeholders and external parties to ensure the successful execution of research activities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Study Coordination: Assist in screening, study recruitment, obtaining informed consent, and conducting research activities in accordance with Good Clinical Practice (GCP) and Human Biomedical Research Act (HBRA).
  • Data Collection: Perform research data collection and home visits according to research Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and specific procedures depending on study needs.
  • Equipment Management: Clean, prepare, and calibrate research equipment as needed by studies and as per SOPs and SCH Infection Control policies.
  • Database Management: Manage research study database; ensure accuracy and completeness of all data collected in study reports.
  • Additional Duties: Perform other related duties additional to the work described herein.
Requirements
  • Education: Diploma in a field related to the study.
  • Experience: Prior experience in clinical/research setting and in performing physical assessments and data collection will be an advantage.
  • Technical Skills: Proficient in Microsoft Office Excel.
  • Soft Skills: Ability to work independently, show initiative, and work productively as part of a team; meticulous, responsible, and punctual; possess ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing.
