Health, Safety and Environmental (EHS) Specialist

As a Health, Safety and Environmental (EHS) Specialist, you will play a critical role in ensuring the well-being of our team members and the sustainability of our operations. We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced professional to join our team in this challenging and rewarding position.

Job Description:
  • Lead and organize Workplace Safety and Health meetings, conduct site inspections, audit and follow up on actions.
  • Provide EHS support to the Project Team, including planning, implementing and maintaining effective EHS management systems at project sites.
  • Conduct team/individual WSH inspections and produce relevant reports and follow-ups.
  • Enforce safety standards in accordance with the Workplace Safety and Health Act.
  • Ensure legal compliance as per statutory requirements.
  • Conduct regular WSH inspections on general safety practices and audit to ensure that staff and/or subcontractors onsite abide by policies and standards.
  • Prepare and submit safety reports and necessary audits.
  • Assist the company in safety-related certifications and awareness programs.
Requirements:
  • Minimum 3 years of relevant working experience in the Building Construction Industry.
  • Possess relevant safety certificates (e.g., Advanced Certificate in WSH, Safety Officer's Course or equivalent).
  • Good knowledge of Government Regulations relating to Occupational Safety, Health and Environment.
  • Familiar with ISO 45001 documentation.
  • Possess good communication skills.
  • Proficient in MS Office.
Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement EHS policies and procedures.
  • Conduct risk assessments and provide recommendations for mitigation.
  • Monitor and report on EHS performance indicators.
  • Provide training and awareness programs for staff and subcontractors.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to develop and maintain a positive EHS culture.
