Welder Position

We are seeking a skilled professional to take on the role of Welder. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for performing various welding processes on steel, stainless steel, or other metals.


Main Responsibilities:
  • Read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and welding symbols to ensure accurate and efficient work.
  • Select appropriate welding equipment, tools, and materials for each task, adhering to safety protocols and quality standards.
  • Perform SMAW, MIG, TIG, and other welding methods as required, demonstrating expertise in metal fabrication techniques.
  • Prepare metal surfaces by cleaning, grinding, or cutting before welding, maintaining a high level of quality and attention to detail.
  • Inspect completed welds to guarantee they meet established quality and safety standards, taking corrective action when necessary.
  • Repair damaged or worn metal parts and structures, applying problem-solving skills to resolve complex issues.
  • Operate cutting, bending, and shaping equipment when required, working efficiently and effectively.
  • Foster a safe working environment by adhering to workplace safety procedures and wearing appropriate PPE at all times.

Requirements:

To excel in this role, you should possess the following skills and qualifications:

  • A minimum of 3 years of welding experience in construction, manufacturing, or shipbuilding, with a strong foundation in metal fabrication techniques.
  • Proficiency in one or more welding methods (SMAW, MIG, TIG, etc.), with a demonstrated ability to adapt to new processes and technologies.
  • The capacity to read and understand technical drawings, ensuring accurate interpretation and execution of tasks.
  • A high level of physical fitness and comfort working in various site conditions, including confined spaces and heights.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work, with a focus on meeting deadlines and delivering results.
