**Job Title:** Financial Analyst Intern

**About the Role:**

The Finance, Risk & Assurance and Procurement (FRAP) division at EDB is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented intern to assist with various tasks related to financial management and risk assessment. As a Financial Analyst Intern, you will be responsible for processing payments to suppliers and reimbursement to staff, monitoring accounts receivables, fixed assets, and bank accounts, and reviewing and assessing the assigned area within the overseas operations system and business process review project.

**Key Responsibilities:**

* Process payments to suppliers and reimbursement to staff involved in overseas operations
* Monitor accounts receivables, fixed assets, and bank accounts at overseas centres
* Review, assess and provide recommendations for the assigned area within the overseas operations system and business process review project

**Learning Outcomes:**

* Gain insights into overseas operations procurement and finance management
* Gain familiarity with SAP Concur and Workday
* Gain experience with system and workflow re-design project and project management skills

**About the Finance, Risk & Assurance and Procurement (Overseas Operations) Team:**

The overseas operations team within EDB's FRAP division focuses on providing advisory on the procure-to-pay value chain for EDB's overseas centres and officers. The team is embarking on system changes involving re-designing the business processes, and interns will be part of this project to assist with various areas such as information flow, system controls set-up, and business workflow designs.

**What You Will Be Working On:**

As our Financial Analyst Intern, you will be required to assist with various tasks related to financial management and risk assessment, including processing payments, monitoring accounts, and reviewing and assessing the assigned area within the overseas operations system and business process review project.

**What We Are Looking For:**

We are looking for a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual with basic accounting knowledge and a strong interest in financial management and risk assessment. If you are a polytechnic student available for a full-time internship and meet the requirements, we encourage you to apply.
