Job Overview

The Resident Technical Officer is responsible for overseeing the execution of works and ensuring quality control. This involves checking drawings and specifications, reporting to senior staff, and maintaining compliance with contract documents and site instructions.

Main responsibilities include inspecting construction sites, attending project meetings, and resolving contractor queries. The RTO must also coordinate works with other contractors, manage records, and maintain safety standards on site.

To be successful in this role, candidates should possess a Diploma in Civil or Structural Engineering and have at least 5 years of relevant experience as an RTO, with experience in supervision of deep excavation, drainage, and ground improvement projects.

This position requires shift work, including night shifts, and a valid RTO Certification accredited by IES.
