Job Opportunity: Global Pricing Specialist

The role of the Customer Pricing Analyst is pivotal in devising competitive and consistent pricing strategies for global regional tenders. This position entails clarifying service requirements, obtaining relevant inputs such as shipping profiles, customer strategies, target prices, RFQ response guidelines etc. The ideal candidate will support conversations regarding pricing strategy for each tender involved, providing solid justification to stakeholders.

  • Analyzing profitability and rate levels for existing and potential business and pricing, benchmarking against competition and market rates for other customers is a key responsibility.
  • Determining customer-specific costs to serve including special pickup, customer implants, dedicated linehaul, B2C service, value-added services etc. is also essential.
  • The selected candidate will prepare consolidated prices in rate card formats and templates.
  • Global and regional customer pricing tasks are performed by this role.
  • Analysis of bids won/lost and proposing recommendations is also part of this role.
  • Conducting post-implementation reviews of rate implementation and preparing relevant reports/scorecards are critical functions of this position.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Minimum Diploma or Degree in any discipline.
  • Preferably with 2-3 years of relevant experience.
