We are seeking a highly skilled Backend Engineer to join our BRIC team at TikTok PTE. LTD. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for designing and developing scalable and robust systems to protect our users and ensure the health and authenticity of our platform.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and implement infrastructure and tools to enable the construction, deployment, and serving of risk defence algorithms and machine learning models at scale.
  • Improve the capacities of risk prevention, perception, and remediation across various TikTok businesses.
  • Build tools and automated procedures to support risk analytics and defence enforcement.
  • Keep risk control solutions state-of-the-art on fronts of data security, modularisation, privacy, and compliance.
Requirements
  • Minimum Qualification: Bachelor or degrees above in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Programming Language, High Performance Computing, Security Research or other relevant majors.
  • Solid coding skills and experience with building distributed systems.
  • Proficiency in one or more tools of Linux, Spark, Flink, Kubernetes.
  • 2+ years of strong industry experience in building distributed backend systems at scale.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Bonus given to familiarity with machine learning infrastructure or applications, or social/content platform real-time stream computing systems.
  • Bonus given to proficient user of Go or Rust.
