Architectural Coordinator Role Overview

The Architectural Coordinator plays a pivotal role in ensuring the seamless execution of architectural projects. This position involves coordinating with consultants, architects, subcontractors, and suppliers to guarantee that drawings, shop drawings, and sample submissions meet project requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Attend daily, consultant, technical, and safety meetings to stay informed about project progress and address any concerns.
  • Take off quantities for architectural works, assist Site QS, and verify measurements to ensure accuracy and compliance.
  • Conduct site and safety inspections with RTO/RE, and maintain accurate daily records to track progress and identify areas for improvement.
  • Coordinate and review drawings, shop drawings, and sample submissions with relevant stakeholders to ensure they meet project requirements.
  • Prepare agendas, minutes, daily reports, and safety reports to facilitate communication and decision-making.
  • Manage RFIs, RFMs, and RFAs to ensure timely responses and resolutions.
  • Handle internal authority submissions and inspections to ensure compliance with regulations.
  • Support AEI (Addition & Alteration) works to enhance project efficiency and effectiveness.

Requirements:

  • Diploma or Degree in Architecture, Civil Engineering, or related discipline.
  • At least 5 years of relevant experience in architectural coordination works.
  • Good knowledge of construction drawings, building codes, and site safety practices.
