The primary responsibility of the Heavy Vehicle Driver is to safely operate and navigate company vehicles to various work sites. This role requires a high level of attention to detail, adherence to schedule, and effective communication with project stakeholders.

Main Tasks:

  • Operate heavy vehicles such as lorry cranes and tipper trucks to and from work sites, adhering to established schedules and traffic laws.
  • Punctually arrive at work sites, ensuring timely completion of tasks and minimal delays.
  • Familiarize yourself with the vehicle's maintenance schedule and report any issues or concerns to the designated authorities.
  • Switch off the ignition and remove the key when the vehicle is parked and not in use, and avoid leaving it in idle mode while waiting.
  • Ensure loads are properly secured in accordance with local laws and regulations.
  • In the event of an accident, promptly inform the Project Director and follow established protocols for incident reporting and resolution.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Class 4 Singapore Driving license.
  • Ability to work varied shifts, including night jobs and extended periods of up to three months without rest.
  • Availability to work on Saturdays and Sundays as required.
  • At least two years of experience driving tipper trucks, with a proven track record of safe operation and minimal incidents.
