Content Marketing Specialist

This role is responsible for curating, creating, and integrating content across key platforms, from internal communications to external marketing outreach initiatives.

The ideal candidate will have a good degree in Marketing, Communications, or Journalism, with a minimum of 4-6 years of experience in social media marketing and content creation.

  • Key Responsibilities:
    • Develop and publish compelling on-brand content across social media platforms.
    • Edit and proofread NUSC newsletters, including articles, features, and other updates.
    • Support the writing and editing of NUSC website copy, blog posts, articles, and other communications materials.
    • Manage and update the newsletter mailing list and subscriber database with support from relevant teams.

Required Skills:

  • Content Creation:
    • Develop and edit engaging content for social media platforms.
    • Curate and manage profile banks, including text, images, videos, and interactive elements.

Communication Skills:

  • Social Media Marketing:
    • Plan and execute social media campaigns, including paid advertising and influencer marketing.
    • Engage with followers on social media platforms, respond to comments and messages, and build a strong online community.

Technical Skills:

  • Website Content Management Systems:
    • Experience with website content management systems (CMS) and social media scheduling tools.
    • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, Premier Pro).

Teamwork and Leadership:

  • Training and Support:
    • Manage and guide a team of student editorial team members, photographers, and videographers.
    • Train internal teams on content creation, social media best practices, and brand guidelines.
