Occupational Therapist Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced Occupational Therapist to join our team at the Senior Care Centre. This is a dynamic opportunity for a skilled professional to make a positive impact in the lives of our clients.

Job Description:

The successful candidate will be responsible for planning and delivering occupational therapy services to clients, conducting assessments, and developing effective treatment plans. Key responsibilities include:

  • Planning and running occupational therapy services in the Senior Care Centre
  • Conducting assessments for clients during admission and periodic reviews
  • Instituting appropriate and effective client therapy treatments
  • Participating in multidisciplinary case discussions with the care team
  • Contributing to formulation and follow-up of clients' Individual Care Plans (ICP) to ensure holistic health and care coverage
  • Planning and conducting group therapy programs and activities for day care clients
  • Reviewing and revising program schedules when necessary to enhance quality of therapy programs
  • Taking charge of proper documentation of therapy records
Required Skills and Qualifications:

To be considered for this position, candidates must possess:

  • Bachelor degree or Diploma in Occupational Therapy
  • Qualification and registration with Allied Health Professions Council
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills
  • Passionate disposition to interact with frail seniors
