Responsibilities:
Provide exceptional customer service to passengers by responding to their inquiries and addressing their concerns in a timely and professional manner.
Assist passengers with special needs in boarding and alighting trains safely and efficiently.
Monitor train performance and take appropriate action to address any irregularities or issues that may arise during operation.
Ensure that all passengers comply with Rapid Transit Systems regulations and follow safety protocols at all times.
Communicate effectively with dispatchers and other railway staff as needed to ensure smooth operation of train services.
Deal with emergencies such as passenger incidents or equipment failures in a safe and efficient manner.
Perform routine maintenance tasks on trains to ensure they remain in good working condition.
Maintain accurate records of train operations and report any incidents or issues to superiors as necessary.
Participate in training programs and workshops to enhance knowledge and skills related to train operation and customer service.
Requirements:
Possess a minimum of 5 credits in O-Level examination or equivalent qualification.
Have the ability to reach a height of 200cm with both hands, which is essential for performing certain duties on the job.
Have at least 2 years of working experience in the service or retail industry, which is preferred but not required.
Demonstrate excellent interpersonal skills and a passion for working with people, which is critical for providing outstanding customer service.
Be willing to work shift schedules, including weekends and public holidays, which is an essential requirement for this role.
Possess the ability to identify colors, which is necessary for recognizing warning signs and signals on the job.
