Senior Procurement & Logistics Executive

Job Description

The Senior Procurement & Logistics Executive plays a pivotal role in the company's procurement and logistics cycle. This position is responsible for ensuring timely and accurate delivery of goods and services, as well as fostering strong relationships with internal stakeholders, vendors, and logistics partners.

This executive will lead the purchasing process from sourcing to delivery coordination, guaranteeing that suppliers meet quality and reliability standards while maintaining cost efficiency.

  • Purchasing: Source, evaluate, and negotiate with suppliers for operational needs, process purchase orders, quotations, and supplier agreements, monitor price trends, and ensure timely replenishment of stock.
  • Logistics & Inventory: Plan and coordinate deliveries and distribution of goods to various deployment sites, maintain optimal inventory levels, perform periodic stock checks, and liaise with operations and site teams to understand deployment needs.
  • Vendor & Contract Management: Maintain and update approved vendor lists, contracts, and service agreements, evaluate supplier performance regularly, and recommend improvements or changes as needed.

This role requires excellent negotiation and communication skills, a high level of organization, attention to detail, and ability to work under pressure. The ideal candidate should be proactive, resourceful, and able to work independently and coordinate with multiple internal stakeholders.

A Diploma in Business, Supply Chain, or related field is required, along with 4-5 years of purchasing or logistics experience. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word) is also necessary.
