Internal Audit Manager

This role involves overseeing the internal audit department to ensure its activities align with strategic goals and meet key performance indicators. The Internal Audit Manager will be responsible for assisting the Head of Internal Audit in managing the department, developing audit programs, and supervising a team of auditors.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assisting the Head of Internal Audit in achieving department objectives and completing risk assessments.
  • Preparing materials for the audit and risk committee.
  • Leading audits in line with the annual risk-based internal audit plan, including timelines, budgeting, and delivery.
  • Developing audit programs across Company processes and performing on-site fieldwork.
  • Supervising and mentoring audit team members to enhance department capability and efficiency.
  • Reviewing documentation to ensure quality and supporting test work and conclusions.
  • Drafting concise audit reports for senior management and stakeholders.
  • Assisting with investigations and whistle blowing report preparation.
  • Working together with stakeholders to develop remediation plans for improvement opportunities.
