Key Responsibilities:- Site Oversight: Coordinate trenching, pipe laying, jointing, and backfilling activities, ensuring timely completion and adherence to safety protocols.
- Workforce and Resource Management: Allocate tasks to workers and subcontractors, supervise equipment utilization, and ensure efficient use of labor, machinery, and materials.
- Compliance and Safety: Enforce site safety measures, verify shoring, barricading, and signage are in place, and adhere to all health, safety, and environmental (HSE) regulations.
- Coordination and Planning: Collaborate with engineers, surveyors, and other site supervisors, ensuring timely availability of materials and equipment on-site.
- Quality Control: Inspect alignment, levels, slope, and compaction as per specifications, assist in conducting tests, and verify correct installation of pipes, ducts, and manholes.
- Inspections and Handovers: Assist engineers during inspections by authorities, prepare the site for inspection, and rectify minor defects immediately.
- Documentation and Reporting: Maintain daily work progress records, record labor, machinery hours, and material usage, and keep records of inspections, tests, and site instructions.
