Aircraft Engine Technician Opportunity

We are seeking a skilled individual to join our engine maintenance team as a Trainee Technician. This is an exceptional opportunity for aspiring aircraft engine technicians who wish to gain hands-on experience and develop their skills in the aviation industry.

The Trainee Technician will undergo a comprehensive training program that includes initial company familiarisation, classroom training, and on-the-job training. The program aims to equip the technician with the necessary knowledge and skills to become a qualified aircraft engine technician.

The traineeship involves a fully-sponsored training programme with an allowance over the one-year training period. Upon successful completion of the programme, the trainee will serve a two-year or four-year bond.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Participate in classroom training, consisting of theory and practical sessions, conducted by an external training academy.
  • Complete nine months of on-the-job training to learn and work on renowned Engines.
  • Perform various tasks related to aircraft engine maintenance, including troubleshooting, assembly, and calibration.

To be eligible for this position, applicants must possess:

Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • A NITEC / Higher NITEC / Diploma in Engineering (e.g., Aeronautical/Avionics/Mechanical/Mechatronics/Manufacturing/Electrical/Precision).
  • Completed full-time National Service (for locals).
  • Able to perform rotating shift work.
  • Willig to work in Changi.
