Job Description:

We are seeking an Inventory Supply Chain Specialist to manage our medical supplies, medications, and hospital materials. The ideal candidate will have strong attention to detail and organizational skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.

  • Maintain and manage inventory levels of medical supplies, medications, and other hospital materials.
  • Ensure accurate and timely updates to inventory records in EzyVet, including entering updates of invoices.
  • Assist with procurement, ordering, and receiving stock, checking deliveries for accuracy and quality.
  • Implement the process around controlled drugs.
  • Organize and label stock to ensure efficient accessibility and rotation of items.
  • Conduct regular inventory audits and reconcile discrepancies.
  • Work closely with veterinary staff to forecast inventory needs and manage stock levels accordingly.
  • Help implement and maintain inventory management policies and procedures.
  • Prepare and submit inventory reports to hospital management.


Desired Skills and Qualifications:

  • Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Proficiency in inventory management software (e.g., EzyVet, Microsoft Excel).
  • Strong communication skills to collaborate with veterinary staff and management.
  • 2-3 years of experience in inventory management or supply chain operations, preferably in a veterinary, medical, or pharmaceutical setting.
  • Experience handling controlled substances in compliance with AVS regulation is an advantage.
