Are you a skilled programmer with a passion for teaching? We have an exciting opportunity for a Coding Instructor to join our team at the Descartes Learning Centre Pte Ltd.

Job Description

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced coding instructor to design and deliver high-quality coding lessons to students of various ages and skill levels. As a coding expert, you will be responsible for implementing curriculum for coding programs, providing individualized support and feedback to students, and collaborating with other teachers to integrate coding into the broader curriculum.

You will also be required to participate in staff development and training to stay current with industry trends and best practices, as well as communicate with parents and guardians about student progress.

Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Education, or related field
  • Proven experience teaching coding to students of various ages and skill levels
  • Strong knowledge of programming languages such as Python, Java, and JavaScript
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Familiarity with educational technology and coding platforms
Nice to Have
  • Master's degree in Computer Science, Education, or related field
  • Experience in teaching
  • Familiarity with agile development methodologies
  • Experience working with students with diverse learning needs
