Job Summary

The Videographer will create engaging video content to enhance the visibility of Nanyang Business School as a nexus for innovation, research and business education.

Key Responsibilities
  • Plan, shoot, and edit video content for events, promotional campaigns and social media.
  • Conceptualise, storyboard and execute compelling visual narratives.
  • Operate and maintain videography equipment, including cameras, stabilisers, lighting, and audio recording tools, to ensure high production quality.
  • Drone videography experience is an advantage.
  • Edit and enhance raw footage into polished videos with smooth transitions, colour correction, and refined sound design.
  • Create short-form content optimised for digital platforms such as Instagram, YouTube and TikTok.
  • Stay informed about video marketing trends and experiment with new techniques to improve engagement.
  • Optimise video content for search engines and social media algorithms to maximise reach.
  • Manage and organise video content on YouTube and other distribution platforms.
  • Work closely with internal teams to develop cohesive storytelling that aligns with NBS's positioning.
  • Maintain video and photography equipment to ensure peak performance.
Requirements
  • A degree/diploma in mass communication visual communication, or a related field.
  • 3 to 5 years' experience in videography, editing and multimedia production.
  • Proficiency in industry-standard editing software such as Final Cut Pro X, Adobe Premiere Pro, and Adobe After Effects.
  • Creative, with a strong understanding of lighting, composition and audio recording techniques.
  • Experience in motion graphics, animation (e.g., After Effects), 3D camera work is a plus.
  • Familiarity with drone videography and relevant aviation regulations.
  • Strong communication skills, adaptability and a collaborative mindset.
  • Ability to plan and execute video shoots and manage post-production independently.
  • Flexibility to handle multiple projects and adapt to last-minute changes in schedules or requirements.
  • Physically capable of managing onsite videography/photography tasks, including setting up and transporting equipment.
