Job Title: Operations Director
About the RoleWe are seeking an experienced and skilled Operations Director to lead our team in achieving business goals. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing departmental plans, ensuring compliance with all Safety, Quality, and Regulatory directives.
Main Responsibilities:
- Develops and maintains annual budgets
- DIRECTS activities in areas of safety and personnel, production, scheduling, material handling and quality
- Apply knowledge of marine engineering principles as applicable to vessel design, new construction and repairs of ships and ships system
- Review and interpret designs, drawings & specifications, recommend changes to plans and specifications to meet actual vessel conditions
- DIRECTS and coordinates shipyard operations within company policies and procedures
- Responsible and accountable for the performance of craft supervisors, technicians, and line staff for safety, quality, cost, and scheduling
- Directs all phases of steel fabrication, assembly and erection, piping fabrication and installation, electrical systems fabrication and Installation, painting and outfitting including the work
- IN CHARGE OF FULL COORDINATION, ADMINISTRATION AND MANAGEMENT OF PROJECT
- Participate in Management review meeting
- Plan and foresee the number of manpower to be deployed at the sites
- Coordinate with client on location of site office, site store and erection area
- Review the company Occupational health and safety performance
- Prepare monthly, quarterly and annual reports
Requirements:
- 8 years of experience in Marine industry will be a must
- Candidate must possess at least a degree in any field
- Excellent interpersonal ,Good communication and negotiation skills for customers and suppliers
- Good attitude and team worker
- Able to commit to 5.5 days week
- Ability to work under pressure and make quick decisions
