Water Infrastructure Project Manager

A critical role exists for a Resident Technical Officer to oversee water mains rehabilitation work on the night shift.
- Collaborate with the Project Manager and contract management for site supervision of contractors' teams.
- Manage and work closely with contractors carrying out pipe rehabilitation and pipe laying works according to design and requirements.
- Monitor contractor progress and ensure site safety.
The following responsibilities are key to this role:
- Site Supervision: Collaborate with project managers and contract management to oversee contractor activities, ensuring adherence to design specifications.
- Pipe Rehabilitation and Laying: Work closely with contractors to execute pipe rehabilitation and laying works as per design requirements.
- Progress Monitoring and Safety: Regularly monitor contractor progress and enforce strict site safety protocols to prevent accidents.
To excel in this position, candidates must possess the following skills and qualifications:
- Diploma in civil or environmental engineering.
- Registration as a Resident Technical Officer in Singapore.
- At least 5 years of experience in site supervision for civil engineering works, specifically in pipe rehabilitation, jacking, laying, and tunnelling works for water infrastructure projects.
- Certification in WSQ Supervise Work in Confined Space Operation is an added advantage.
