We are seeking a skilled Chinese language educator to deliver high-quality lessons and foster a love for the language in students.
- Craft engaging lesson plans that meet the diverse needs of students, aligning with the school's curriculum standards.
- Taught literacy, communication, and conversational skills in Mandarin, utilizing various teaching methods and resources.
- Evaluate student progress, providing constructive feedback to guide learning and improve performance.
- Offer support and differentiation to cater to students' unique learning styles and abilities.
- Develop a stimulating classroom environment that promotes cultural appreciation and language proficiency.
- Collaborate effectively with colleagues and engage parents in their child's education.
Essential Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree in Education, Chinese Language, Linguistics, or a related field.
- Valid teaching certification or qualification (e.g., B.Ed, PGCE, MOE certification).
- Significant experience teaching Mandarin, preferably in an international or multicultural setting.
- Excellent proficiency in Mandarin Chinese (reading, writing, speaking, and listening).
- Good command of English for effective communication with colleagues and parents.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Native or business-level proficiency in Mandarin Chinese.
- Experience with international curricula (e.g., Cambridge, IB)
