About the Role">

The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining a clean and safe environment in our school facilities. This includes cleaning, washing, sweeping, mopping, dusting and vacuuming assigned areas such as classrooms, offices, multipurpose halls, carpets, windows, walls, furniture, sinks and drinking fountains.

  • Clean and sanitise toilet facilities and Nurse Room.
  • Arrange tables, chairs, desks, etc. to provide adequate preparation for classroom activities and events.
  • Empty and clean garbage bins, remove trash, etc. to allocated disposal points.
  • Respond to immediate safety and / or operational concerns for the purpose of taking appropriate action to resolve immediate safety.
  • Follow procedures for the use of chemical cleaners and power equipment, in order to prevent damage to floors and fixtures.
  • Ensure that all chemicals are securely stored away when not in use.
  • Clean and tidy cleaning materials and equipment storage areas in a clean and tidy condition.
  • Ensure Supervisor is aware of low stock levels of supplies and equipment (eg cleaning solutions, toiletries, mops, trash bags, etc.).
  • Inform the Supervisor of any defects found in the areas that the Cleaner is assigned to.

We are looking for someone who is able to work independently and also as part of a team. They should have good time management skills and knowledge of health and safety procedures.

Work Location and Hours">

Work location: 72 Bukit Tinggi Road, Singapore (shuttle bus service provided from 6th Avenue MRT station)

Working hours: 7.30 am pm or 8.30 am to 6.00 pm (Monday to Friday)
