Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Electrical Systems Maintenance Specialist to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining, inspecting, repairing, troubleshooting, and modifying electrical systems onboard vessels.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Maintain, inspect, repair, troubleshoot, and modify electrical systems onboard vessels.
  • Manage field activities and schedule to ensure timely completion of tasks.
  • Resolve malfunctions and ensure proper functioning of electrical systems.
  • Oversee repairs and technical improvements of electrical systems.
  • Install new systems and technology to improve efficiency and safety.
  • Ensure proper maintenance of onsite equipment and tools.
  • Supervise and direct technicians/engineers onsite to achieve better results.
  • Create detailed service reports with job progress, working/traveling time, technical advice, and recommendations.
  • Provide technical support and training for customers, service agents, and internal teams.
  • Foster collaboration among team members to achieve better results.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you must have:
  • Diploma in electronic/electrical engineering or relevant discipline.
  • Minimum 4 years of experience in vessel main engine automation systems or related field.
  • Proficiency in engineering principles, hands-on experience with equipment or systems, and good knowledge of electrical systems.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to stay updated with the latest industry advancements and technology.
