Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Trade Finance Manager to join our team at The GMP Group. As a Trade Finance Manager, you will be responsible for processing requests for Trade Finance activities, checking import and export shipping documentation, and conducting checks for sanctions listings and anti-money laundering.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Process requests for Trade Finance activities, including LC Issuing and Amendments, Financing of Export/Import Bills, Collection of Export/Import Bills, Trust Receipts, and other related activities.
  • Check import and export shipping documentation provided by counterparty banks or branch customers to ensure accuracy and compliance.
  • Conduct thorough checks for all sanctions listings, controlled products, and anti-money laundering regulations to ensure compliance.
  • Prepare and assemble monthly reports for the head office or a branch, as directed.
  • Process transactions and enter them into trade finance systems, ensuring accuracy and efficiency.
  • Resolve any issues customers may have with export-import discrepancy documents or the preparation of supporting paperwork for financing.

Requirements:

  • Degree or Diploma with a minimum of 3 years of banking experience in Trade Finance.
  • Proficient in UCP 600 with good checking experience in import and export shipping documents.
