Job Title: Lecturer - Data Centre Infrastructure & Operation ITE College East

About the Role:

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Lecturer to join our team at ITE College East. As a Lecturer, you will play a critical role in shaping the minds of our students and preparing them for a successful career in Data Centre Infrastructure and Operations.

About the Job:

As a Lecturer, you will be responsible for teaching and facilitating learning in Data Centre Infrastructure and Operations. You will also be involved in industry or consultancy projects to stay relevant in your profession and maintain strong linkages with industry and schools.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Teach and facilitate learning in Data Centre Infrastructure and Operations
  • Carry out industry or consultancy projects to stay relevant in your profession
  • Maintain strong linkages with industry and schools
  • Update your skills, knowledge, and practices of your profession through industry attachments or experience

Requirements:

  • Trained in Information Technology, Facilities Management, or equivalent
  • Familiar with at least two of the following: Cisco Networking Technologies, Windows Server Administration, Linux Server Administration, IT Service Management, Fire Protection Systems, Electrical Technology, Air-Conditioning & Mechanical Ventilation System, IT Service Management
  • At least 3 years of relevant industry experience
  • Professional certifications in Data Centre Operations or equivalent will be an advantage
  • Passion and genuine interest to share knowledge and interact with youth
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills

Career Development Opportunities:

Those with good and relevant experience can look forward to Senior Lecturer or equivalent positions, with career development opportunities to leadership positions in the Colleges or Headquarters.
