Description:

We are seeking a skilled Facilities Management Specialist to oversee the routine maintenance, repairs, and renovations of buildings and equipment.

  • Oversee daily operations and ensure that all facilities are well-maintained, clean, and safe for occupants.
  • Manage security measures, access control, and emergency procedures to prevent accidents and ensure compliance with regulations.
  • Develop and implement budget-friendly solutions for facility operations, including maintenance, repairs, and renovations.
  • Collaborate with vendors for cleaning, landscaping, and other services to enhance the overall experience of our facilities.
  • Supervise facilities contractors, including technicians, caretakers, and gardeners, to ensure that work is completed efficiently and effectively.
  • Evaluate and improve building designs, layouts, and systems to optimize space utilization and energy efficiency.
  • Implement sustainability initiatives and maintain records of facility operations, maintenance, and repairs to ensure accountability and continuous improvement.
  • Work closely with senior management to develop and execute strategic plans for facility development and management.
About You:

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • Diploma in Facility Management or equivalent experience in the maintenance industry.
  • Strong knowledge of various electrical and mechanical systems and codes for building and workshop.
  • Excellent organizational and planning skills to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills to interact with staff, vendors, and clients.
  • Ability to supervise and motivate staff to achieve goals and objectives.
  • Able to think critically and solve problems independently.
