Job Overview

A Business System Analyst will bridge the gap between business requirements and technical solutions by designing systems, analyzing requirements, and validating functionality.

The ideal candidate will possess a strong analytical mindset, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to work independently.

The position involves ongoing application support, participation in the full Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), and collaboration with cross-functional resources.

  • Provide application support and participate in SDLC activities including requirements gathering, design, testing, deployment, and maintenance.
  • Lead requirement-gathering sessions and translate business needs into functional specifications, workflows, and solution designs.
  • Perform functional analysis to ensure solutions align with business objectives, processes, and technical feasibility.
  • Prepare comprehensive documentation of requirements, processes, and system designs.
  • Define and execute test strategies, develop test cases, conduct functional and user acceptance testing, and follow through on defect resolution.
  • Plan and deliver end-user training for new implementations or system enhancements.
  • Act as a trusted partner to business stakeholders, advising on IT processes, workflows, and organizational impacts.
  • Support project management activities, including requirement definition, progress tracking, and ensuring delivery against scope, timeline, and budget.
  • Coordinate cross-functional resources and ensure alignment for project execution.

The successful candidate should have:

  • 3–5 years of experience in developing, implementing, and maintaining IT systems.
  • Strong business analysis skills with proven ability to gather, analyze, and translate requirements into functional and technical deliverables.
  • Solid understanding of MS Windows environments and enterprise application support.
  • Proficiency in SQL/Oracle database.
  • Demonstrated success in project management, stakeholder management, and vendor coordination.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and independent working skills.
  • Prior experience in the relevant domain is an advantage.
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related engineering disciplines.
