Export Documentation Specialist Role

This position is responsible for managing pre-shipment and post-shipment documents, staying up-to-date on international trade and shipping regulations, identifying and addressing compliance risks related to export documentation.

As an Export Documentation Specialist, you will be the key point of contact for customers, ensuring timely and accurate delivery of export documentation.

  • Manage pre-shipment and post-shipment documents like invoices, packing lists, L/C documents, and customs certificates as per customer requirements.

The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of international trade regulations and procedures, with excellent communication and organizational skills.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and review export documents, including commercial invoices, bills of lading, and certificates of origin.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant export regulations and procedures.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with customers, responding to their queries and concerns in a timely and professional manner.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure seamless execution of export operations.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in International Trade, Logistics, or a related field.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in export documentation, preferably in a logistics or freight forwarding company.
  • Excellent knowledge of international trade regulations, including Incoterms and customs procedures.
  • Strong communication and organizational skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
