Software Lifecycle Manager Role

The Software Lifecycle Manager oversees the entire application lifecycle, ensuring seamless collaboration with stakeholders and efficient project delivery.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Collaborate with Sponsors and Product Owners to review and clarify business needs, ensuring they are clearly defined and effectively communicated to the team.
  • Facilitate decision-making when arbitration or prioritization is required across multiple projects or needs.
  • Oversee and maintain the product backlog in a JIRA tool, ensuring all tickets are well-structured, contain complete information, have all sub-tasks listed, sprint scope defined, and statuses updated.
  • Manage and coordinate daily team activities, organizing regular team meetings.
  • Apply project management processes, including governance, planning, estimation, resource allocation, quality assurance, and risk/issue management.
  • Lead the overall planning, execution, and monitoring of all software projects.
  • Engage with key stakeholders on software evolution, project progress, risks, and issues.
  • Ensure complete, up-to-date, and easily accessible software and project documentation.
  • Oversee software support processes across different levels, including system health checks, security reviews, access control, BCP/DRP activities, and internal/external audits.
  • Support the Team Lead in identifying skill gaps and recommending relevant training for team members.
Required Skills & Qualifications
  • A minimum of 8 years in Application Management, Delivery Management, or Project Management.
  • Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science or a related technical field.
  • PMP, PRINCE2, Agile ACP or CSM, CBAP certifications.
