Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated individual to fill the role of Clinic Assistant. As a Clinic Assistant, you will play a vital part in the delivery of high-quality patient care and support services within our healthcare team.

The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment. You will be responsible for providing administrative support to our clinical staff, managing front-line operations, and ensuring the smooth day-to-day running of our clinic.

  1. Manage Clinic Operations: Oversee the management of clinic resources, including appointment scheduling, inventory management, and patient registration.
  2. Provide Clinical Support: Assist doctors during patient examinations and treatments, perform basic clinical procedures, and provide support with laboratory tests and specialist referrals.
  3. Patient Care: Prepare patients for consultations and procedures, provide patient education, and ensure that patients' records are accurate and up-to-date.
  4. Front-Line Services: Manage patient feedback and enquiries, identify situations where patients require additional attention, and provide frontline services as needed.
Requirements
  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent required; post-secondary education in a related field an asset.
  • Experience: 1-2 years of experience in a healthcare setting, preferably in a clinical assistant or administrative role.
  • Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, strong organizational and time management skills.
