We are looking for a detail-oriented Freight Manager to join our supply chain team. As a Freight Manager, you will be responsible for managing the movement of ocean and air freight across multiple regions, collaborating with the supply chain team to maintain optimal ordering programs, and ensuring timely deliveries within budget.
Your key responsibilities will include consolidating and building freight shipments, maintaining real-time shipment visibility through a comprehensive tracking sheet, negotiating rates with freight forwarders, and monitoring industry trends to identify opportunities to improve our freight forwarding strategy.
The ideal candidate has at least 5 years of experience in freight forwarding or logistics coordination, proven experience in negotiating freight rates, strong analytical and problem-solving skills, excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and freight management software.
