Lead Cybersecurity Architect Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Lead Cybersecurity Architect to join our team. As a key member of our security architecture team, you will play a critical role in developing high-quality cybersecurity solutions for various software applications on modern cloud-based technologies.

About the Job

This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced cybersecurity professional to lead our efforts in creating effective and efficient security architectures. You will work closely with technical teams and business stakeholders to discuss and propose technical approaches to meet current and future cybersecurity needs.

Responsibilities:
  • Engage technical teams and business stakeholders to discuss and propose technical approaches to meet current and future cybersecurity needs
  • Define the technical target state of their cybersecurity product and drive achievement of the strategy
  • Identify opportunities to eliminate or automate remediation of recurring issues to improve overall cybersecurity of software applications and systems
  • Lead evaluation sessions with external vendors, startups, and internal teams to drive continuous improvement and assess cybersecurity design and technical credentials for use in existing systems and architecture
  • Lead communities of practice to drive awareness and use of new and leading-edge cybersecurity technologies
  • Add to team culture of diversity, opportunity, inclusion, and respect
  • Conduct Threat Models and Security Architecture Reviews of enterprise infrastructure and products
Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need to have:

  • Formal training or certification on cybersecurity architecture concepts and 5+ years of applied experience
  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, Data Science, or related disciplines
  • Hands-on practical experience delivering enterprise-level cybersecurity solutions and controls
  • Advanced in one or more programming/scripting languages
  • Proficiency in all aspects of the Software Development Life Cycle
  • Advanced understanding of agile methodologies such as continuous integration and delivery, application resiliency, and security
