  • Procurement Management: Manage short cycle demands, customer emergencies, and forced outages, expedite past-due and urgent demands.
  • Supplier Relationship Management: Resolve any issues or discrepancies with suppliers and deliveries, ensuring that all purchases meet the company's quality, technical specifications, and delivery timeline.
  • Supplier Evaluation and Selection: Identify and evaluate potential suppliers that meet the company's technical and machining requirements.
  • Negotiation and Contract Management: Negotiate contracts and pricing with suppliers to ensure cost-effective purchasing, manage supplier relationships, and monitor supplier performance.
  • Inventory Management: Monitor inventory levels and manage replenishment in relation to sales team and demand.

Requirements
  • Work Experience: Minimum 5 to 10 years of experience in tool shop manufacturing micro-mechanics' parts.
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management or a related field.
  • Skills: Proven experience as a Technical Buyer or in a similar role, ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams, excellent negotiation and communication skills, proficiency in procurement software and tools, ability to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously, strong analytical and problem-solving skills, strong organizational and time management skills, ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines, proactive and self-motivated, strong ethical standards and integrity.
