LIM JOO HUAT ENTERPRISE PTE. LTD. is a vertically integrated produce company that operates a state-of-the-art indoor vertical farm in Singapore. As part of our localisation sourcing plan, we self-operate a semi-automated production house supplying produce to over 700 food service customers locally.

Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Agritech Specialist to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the farm operations systems, troubleshooting technical faults, and ensuring quality and timely delivery of our produce to chefs, hotels, and restaurants.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Farm Operations Management

Manage the farm operations systems for air quality, irrigation, and light controls to ensure optimal growing conditions.

Troubleshooting and Maintenance

Identify and troubleshoot technical faults within the farm, including plumbing and electrical issues.

Grow Testing and Development

Conduct grow testing for seeds, light spectrum, and fertilizers to optimize crop yields and quality.

Inventory Planning and Management

Develop and implement inventory planning strategies to ensure timely delivery of produce to customers.

Production Planning and Quality Control

Collaborate with the production team to plan and execute quarterly production schedules, ensuring quality and timely delivery of produce.

Gap Requirements and Compliance

Ensure compliance with Good Agricultural Practices (GAP) requirements and maintain accurate records.

Requirements

We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced Agritech Specialist with a strong background in agriculture, horticulture, or a related field. The ideal candidate will have excellent problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
