Job Summary

This role involves carrying out various pest control and rodents eradication tasks at animal holding facilities, exhibits, habitats, aviaries, buildings, and surrounding areas.

The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining a safe and healthy environment by controlling pest populations and eradicating rodents.

  • To carry out regular pest maintenance and rodents eradication works in accordance with established protocols and procedures.
  • Work collaboratively with the avian team to learn and understand bird behavior, habitat needs, and population dynamics.
  • Demonstrate a strong understanding of population control principles and their application in threatened species conservation.
  • Develop and implement effective strategies for eliminating rats from aviaries.
