Senior Mechanical Engineering Lead

This is an exciting opportunity for a highly skilled Senior Mechanical Engineering Lead to oversee the design and development of mechanical systems, leading a team of engineers.

  • Responsibilities include conceptual design, scope of work, and development of construction documents.
  • The ideal candidate will have expertise in identifying potential risks to projects and stakeholders, creating contingency plans to mitigate these risks.
  • Liaising with relevant organizations, agencies, vendors, and clients is crucial to implementing plans and ensuring that projects meet quality and safety standards.
  • Effective management of company assets, equipment rental, and manpower is essential for optimal utilization and cost management.
  • Timely and consistent communication sessions with internal and external stakeholders are vital for project success.
  • Additionally, this role involves managing the detailed mechanical design of municipal scale wastewater treatment systems as required.
  • Leading a team of mechanical engineers and developing core technical competencies is key to staying competitive in providing value-added products/services to customers.
Requirements:
  • Degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent qualification recognized by PEB.
  • Minimum 15 years of relevant working experience.
  • Experience in Environmental, Water, or Waste Water Engineering is highly desirable.
  • Strong leadership and motivational skills are necessary to lead a team in a fast-paced dynamic environment.
  • Excellent communication skills are required to communicate effectively with people at all levels about goals, responsibility, performance, expectations, and feedbacks.
  • Ability to adapt to a fast-paced environment with multiple priorities.
