We are seeking a skilled and motivated Engineering Operations Manager to join our team at JEN Singapore Tanglin by Shangri-La. As an Engineering Operations Manager, you will be responsible for managing, coaching, and supervising engineering technicians.

About the Role

The successful candidate will have a passion for engineering, with a strong understanding of engineering equipment in a hotel environment. You will be responsible for maintaining electrical and mechanical plant & equipment of the hotel, managing engineering programs, and organizing records for future planning.

Your Key Responsibilities

  • Manage, coach, and supervise the engineering technicians to ensure efficient operation of the hotel's engineering systems.
  • Maintain electrical and mechanical plant & equipment of the hotel, ensuring optimal performance and compliance with safety regulations.
  • Develop and implement engineering programs to improve efficiency, reduce costs, and enhance guest satisfaction.
  • Organize and maintain accurate records of engineering activities, including maintenance schedules, repairs, and replacements.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A degree in engineering or a related field.
  • At least 5 years of experience in a similar role, preferably in a hotel or hospitality environment.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Proficiency in computer-aided design (CAD) software and other relevant tools.
