Bioanalytical Expert

The NTU invites applications for a highly skilled Bioanalytical Expert to contribute to the development of innovative analytical assays.

• This role will involve the design, implementation, and optimization of analytical assays based on optical imaging of functionalized nanospheres interacting with biological targets.
• The successful candidate will be responsible for synthesizing and preparing required assay materials, testing various assay conditions and sample types, including clinical samples.
• They will also assist in identifying ideal assay targets through literature research and collaborate with NTU research clusters to package optimized assays into commercial products.

• Design and develop new analytical assays.
• Optimize existing assays for improved performance.
• Conduct literature research to identify ideal assay targets.
• Collaborate with industry and clinical partners to develop and commercialize assays.
• Author reports and presentations for stakeholders.
• Contribute to publications and patent applications.

• PhD Degree in Chemistry, Materials Science, Biophysics, or related disciplines.
• Excellent knowledge in biochemistry/biophysics, including nucleic acid design and protein interactions.
• Experience in analytical assay design and optimization is preferred.
• Experience with optical imaging methods is preferred.
• Nanomaterials synthesis (gold/silver) and conjugation experience is beneficial.
• Good writing and communication skills.
• Proficiency in English.
• Ability to thrive in a multidisciplinary team-based environment.
