ITCAN is seeking an experienced Middleware System Administrator to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess strong technical skills in middleware administration, including Oracle WebLogic, JBoss EAP/EWS, Apache Web, Apache Tomcat, IIS, SFTP, and Active Batch.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Support and maintain middleware infrastructure on Unix & Windows platforms
  2. Manage and administer domains, clusters, JDBC connection pools, and other resources on application infrastructure
  3. Provide technical expert support for managed workloads, including analyzing and resolving incidents, problems, and service requests
  4. Perform incident management, troubleshooting, and root cause analysis
  5. Regularly perform patch management for middleware servers and participate in Change Management meetings
  6. Technical analysis of production platforms to identify and remediate performance issues
  7. Implement procedures for optimal performance, tuning, and optimization of existing systems
  8. Develop scripts for optimizing operations and housekeeping
  9. Maintain technical documentation of software deployments and configuration changes
Requirements
  1. Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or equivalent
  2. At least 3 to 5 years of experience in managing and administering middleware applications
  3. Strong UNIX/Linux/Windows operating system administration experience
  4. Strong troubleshooting, communication, and presentation skills
  5. Quality team building skills, positive attitude, detail-oriented, self-motivated, and able to work in a demanding environment
