We are seeking a skilled professional to join our team as an Laser/LASIK/Ophthalmic Technician. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in biotech or bio-engineering and be comfortable working in a dynamic medical setting.
Responsibilities
- Operate complex ophthalmic equipment, including Femtosecond lasers, Excimer lasers, and topography machines, to conduct LASIK-related tests in the operating theatre and diagnostic room.
- Maintain a well-organized and efficient operating theatre environment by ensuring all necessary equipment is functioning effectively.
- Prepare comprehensive LASIK case notes at least one day prior to surgery.
- Schedule regular maintenance of equipment and fixtures, including dehumidifiers and laser machinery.
- Manage front desk responsibilities, encompassing patient registration, dispensing medication, scheduling operating theatres, handling payments, providing financial counseling, and arranging appointments.
- Execute additional tasks as directed by the Clinic Manager or Doctor.
Requirements
- Strong team player with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Displays a proactive approach and a positive working attitude.
