Key Responsibilities
  • Design and Implementation
    • Develop and implement high-level designs and blueprints for our systems and storage infrastructure.
    • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration with other systems and applications.
  • System Administration
    • Configure and manage VMware environments, including virtual machines and storage.
    • Setup and configure SAN switches and storage solutions, ensuring optimal performance and reliability.
    • Manage storage networking, including iSCSI and FC storage systems.
  • Backup and Recovery
    • Implement and manage backup solutions to ensure data integrity and availability.
    • Develop and maintain disaster recovery plans and procedures.
  • Technical Support
    • Provide technical support and training to internal staff and clients.
    • Stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends and technologies to recommend and implement best practices.
Requirements
  • Deep understanding of VMware, SAN, storage networking, Windows servers, and backup solutions.
  • Experience with translating high-level designs and BOMs into low-level designs and deployment workbooks.
  • Proficiency in tools such as Visio and other design software.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Active Directory experience.
  • DNS management experience.
  • SAP experience.
  • Application development experience.
