We are looking for a skilled Senior Linux Infrastructure Engineer to join our team in Singapore.
About the Role:
We are seeking an experienced Senior Linux Infrastructure Engineer to lead our Unix/Linux support team. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing first- and third-line support for our business applications running on RedHat Linux platforms.
The ideal candidate will have strong knowledge of automation tools, particularly Ansible, and experience with Git source control. Additionally, they will be able to automate tasks efficiently, write sustainable and reusable code, and implement changes while adhering to Change Control and Fault Reporting Procedures.
Responsibilities:
- Provide first- and third-line support for all Unix/Linux systems, including problem management, root cause analysis, and performance tuning.
- Develop and maintain automation scripts using Ansible to improve efficiency and reduce manual errors.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, such as PSS/Database/Network/Market Data Infrastructure teams, to ensure platform service offerings meet business requirements.
- Perform server uplifts, decommission strategies, and operating system optimizations to ensure infrastructure stability.
- Work closely with delivery/engineering teams to provide fit-for-purpose solutions.
Requirements:
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- Strong knowledge of RedHat Linux, automation tools (Ansible), and Git source control.
- Experience with low latency investigations, containerization (Docker), and Kubernetes administration.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work independently.
- Good communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
