The Edge Partnership is seeking a highly skilled Operational Risk Management Lead

To identify, assess, and mitigate risks associated with our Capital markets & DPT related products, you will develop risk management strategies and frameworks to protect the organization. You must have in-depth knowledge of industry standards and regulations.

This role involves implementing Operations Risk & Control framework to mitigate Operations Risks such as Third Party – Outsourcing Risk, Business Continuity Management, and Business Operations Risk. Enhance the firm's overall robustness and operational resilience by working closely with management, compliance, operations, finance, and risk management teams.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Minimum 9 years of relevant experience covering Non-Financial Risk / Operational Risk within the financial service sector, with relevant experience in compliance, internal audit, and/or enterprise risk management (ERM).
  • Minimum bachelor's degree in finance or a related field.
  • Familiar with risk event management, issue management, risk assessments, internal control testing methodologies, Key Risk Indicators, scenario analysis, risk analytics, and reporting.
  • Analyzing, collating, and understanding business requirements.
  • Understanding of MAS regulatory frameworks, including the Payment Services Act of 2019 and Capital Markets Services Licenses (CMSL) under the Securities and Futures Act 2001.
  • Experience in conducting gap analysis and project management.
  • Good product and transaction flow knowledge of capital market products (listed and OTC spot/derivatives) and Digital Payment Token (DPT) services (digital assets, wallets, digital venues).
  • Strong understanding of regulatory compliance, Enterprise Risk Management (ERM), and regulatory capital adequacy principles (RBC).
  • Ability to work efficiently and independently in a fast-paced environment, professional, highly analytical, collaborative, and excellent communication skills (written and spoken - English, for internal and external stakeholders).

Requirements:

  • $120,000 - $180,000 per annum, depending on experience.
  • Location: The Edge Partnership offices.
  • Reporting to: [Manager's Name].
