Job Title: Strategic Project Manager

Job Description:

As a strategic project manager, you will be responsible for ensuring the successful transition of projects from initiation to closure. This involves contributing to the preparation, organization, and validation of project launches.

  • Establish and update project requirements baseline in collaboration with the Bid Manager and Capture Leader.
  • Develop and maintain project execution baselines, including project structure, work package descriptions, partner and supplier contractual data, management plans, costs, budgets, and financial structures.
  • Identify key project stakeholders, set up the project team, organize project structuring activities, start-up project activities, and allocate project requirements.
  • Manage the financial aspects of acquisition strategies, including making/taking/buying decisions, negotiating contracts, and executing contract closures.
  • Lead project launch reviews and involve all stakeholders, including project teams, management plans, associated documents (WBS, OBS, schedules, budget allocations), industrial scenarios, project charters, and team charters.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Degree qualification in computer science, information technology, engineering, project management, or a related field.
  • PMP certification or equivalent (e.g., IPMA).
  • Proven leadership skills with high interpersonal and verbal communication abilities and experience managing multi-disciplinary/multi-cultural teams across geographies and time zones.
  • At least 5 years of project management experience in a multinational enterprise business organization.
  • Exceptional written communication skills, including content authoring and editing.
  • Basic project finance understanding.
  • Good internal stakeholder management in a matrix organization.
  • Customer-focused external relationship management.
  • Organized and analytical, with experience working in a team environment and handling multiple priorities.
  • Self-motivated and comfortable in a dynamic atmosphere with rapidly expanding customer bases and new products.
  • Ability to navigate complexity and ambiguity to make informed project decisions.
  • Excellent negotiation, collaborative, interpersonal, and time management skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure in fast-paced environments with changing priorities.
